Products of our Multipekt range are based on apple pectin extracts (drum dried liquid pectin), apple and aronia fibres with additions of minerals, vitamins and lecithin.

It has been known for some years, that the fibres supplied with our food are essential for our digestion and metabolism. Several physiological effects are assigned to different fibres according to their origin and amount of soluble and non soluble fibres.

Soluble and non soluble fibres are increasing repletion and therefore reducing the sense of hunger. Soluble fibres, and that especially applies to pectins, reduce the cholesterol level in blood without influencing the physiologically essential HDL (High Density Lipoprotein). Increasing the fibre consumption from approximately 20 g per day now is to be recommended out of physiological reasons. The optimal amount of fibres per day is set at approximately 30g. Indeed this quantity can be supplied by offering a variety of different food nutrients and in particular by adding soluble and non soluble fibres to our food.

An additional offer of soluble fibres, like pectin, actually influences the cholesterol metabolism and keeps the blood cholesterol level in a physiologically positive measure. Not to be underestimated is the balancing effect of pectin and non soluble apple fibre on digestion troubles.

Lecithin (mainly Phosphatidylcholine), belonging to the category of phosphatides, is for the whole metabolism of enormous importance. In general it is true, the more important an organ is for the whole body the more substantial is its proportion of lecithin. In sport science lecithin is of interest because it allows to reduce the time necessary to recreate the body.

Our Multipekt range for the health conscious consumers and athletes consists of products, which are especially shaped to complete our food to provide a balanced nutrition. They are not only able to compensate a lack of fibres and minerals, but also to balance vitamin supply physiologically.

Multipekt Plus 01
Our nutraceuticals are based on this apple pectin extract in flaked form. Due to the high content of soluble dietary fibre (approx. 25%) and the good sensorical qualities this product is very interesting for nutritional and dietary supplement. It is suitable for weight reduction and to maintain regularity in digestion and also has a positive effect on the cholesterol level.

Multipekt Plus 05
It is a pectin rich product with a balanced spectrum of soluble and insoluble dietary fibres with the addition of vitamins A, C and E and minerals magnesium and calcium.

Multipekt Plus 06
Multipekt Plus 06 combines the health benefits of pectins and phosphatidylcholin in the best way. This product is produced by adding this high purified fraction lecithin to Multipekt Plus 05.

Multipekt Plus 10
is a fine powder, which is produced by blending of the soluble dietary fibre apple pectin with apple pectin extract and vitamins. It is brown in colour with a characteristic apple taste. This product which was especially developed for the production of tablets is suitable for weight reduction and has a positive effect on cholesterol level.

Multipekt Plus 15
is a food supplement highly enriched with soluble fibre which can be readily dispersed without lumps in water and fruit juice. Multipekt Plus 15 is a combination of a high methoxyled pectin and seignette salt with minimum 72 % soluble dietary fibre (pectin) content.

Apple Pectin Extract and Apple Fibre

This line of products contains apple pectin extract and apple fibres in a defined ratio. It is therefore a concentrated fibre product with a balanced spectrum of soluble and insoluble fibres. It is produced by drum drying a liquid apple pectin extract with apple fibres.
Due to the high fibre content of 37% and nutrition physiological ideal fibre spectrum with 25 % soluble fibres and the pleasant sensory features, this product is suited excellently for nutritional and dietary supplement to control the cholesterol level and for reduction diet.

These products are ideal to enrich marmalade or jams, milk or desserts or ‚candy bars‘ of all sorts or cereals mixtures of all kinds with dietary fibre.

MULTIPEKT PLUS VF
A healthy combination of apple pectin extract and aronia fibre

These tasty flakes consist of apple pectin extract and aronia fibre in a defined ratio. Multipekt Plus VF products combine the benefits of soluble fibres of apple pectin with the bioflavonoids, the flavour, colour and fruit taste of the aronia berries. This is achieved by drum drying a mixture of liquid apple extract with aronia fibre.

Other than currants aronia berries are relatively unknown in Western Europe. It is a pea sized east European wild fruit. In recent years the food industry has discovered this fruit which yields to variety of uses. The intensive ruby red fruit pulp has a delicious bitter sweet flavour. Due to its valuable components comparable with sea thornberry, white thorn or berberries aronia is also counted to the variety of medical plants.

Furthermore, the product is distinguished by its balanced fibre-spectrum. A total fibre content of 38% and 20% soluble fibres fits this product excellently as a nutrition addition to help to cope with a raised cholesterol level or to relieve digestive trouble.

Today our nutrition is often marked by a surplus of some single nutrients, whereas several other essential nutrients like vitamins or minerals are lacking in a normal diet. It is easy to comprehend that such an imbalanced nutrition lacking vitamins leads to disorder and disturbs the well-being. Fatigue, concentration problems and irritability may occur. Vitamins in a sufficient amount are necessary for our well being.
